Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) in association with David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers and Cineworld opened the Kneehigh Theatre's production of Noël Coward's Brief Encounter, adapted and directed by Emma Rice last night, September 28, on Broadway. Yesterday, June 27, Lincoln Center Theater opened A. R. Gurney's new play, THE GRAND MANNER, directed by Mark Lamos, at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 W. 65 Street). Kate Burton, Boyd Gaines, Bobby Steggert and Brenda Wehle comprise the four character cast of this world premiere production. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the opening night celebration.

The Tony Award-winning actor Billy Crudup opened the world-premiere of Adam Rapp's play THE METAL CHILDREN, last night, May 19 at the Vineyard Theatre. The show, also directed by Rapp, began previews May 4. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the opening night arrivals.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) opened the American premiere of Olivier Award nominee Moira Buffini's award-winning play, GABRIEL, this week on May 13, which marks the final main stage production of Atlantic's 2009-2010 season.
