NYC & Company, New York City's official destination marketing organization, announced NYC Broadway Week tickets are on sale to the public today beginning at 10:30am EST. The popular biannual program, now in its eighth year, will run January 16 through February 4, 2018, offering visitors and New Yorkers the opportunity to purchase two-for-one tickets to 19 exciting Broadway shows. Of the participants, seven are new Broadway productions, including Farinelli and the King, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Parisian Woman, among others. SKB Records has launched the groundbreaking new music and video series LENA HALL Obesssed from the Tony Award winner and Grammy nominee that begins today, Friday, January 5. Hall, a singular artist who authentically and explosively brings the worlds of Rock and Broadway together, will release a monthly series of EPs over the course of 2018. Obsessed consists of 12 EPs, each released on the first Friday of every month, featuring stripped-down, emotionally-intensive covers of one artist or band with whom Lena is obsessed. Performance music videos have been created for all 54 songs in the series and a new music video will premiere every week in 2018. Obsessed is produced by Justin Craig, Lena Hall and Kurt Deutsch. Producer Mark Cortale's Broadway concert series hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky returns to San Francisco in 2018 at the Herbst Theatre in the iconic San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center. The internationally acclaimed series will now bring Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara to San Francisco in the New Year, on the heels of Jessie Mueller's smash hit season opener this past October.

The NAMM Foundation has announced that singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will receive the prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award at the 33 rd Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards (NAMM TEC Awards), being held Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Anaheim, CA.
