Parson's Nose Theater (PNT), Pasadena's critically acclaimed professional, classical comedy theater company, continues their 2018-19 season with Carlo Goldoni's farce, The Servant of Two Masters. This 75-minute version was adapted by and features PNT Artistic Director, Lance Davis.
Inspired by a 1970 Federico Fellini film, three aging clowns compete for a job in an absurdly comic look at man's fear of uselessness in society. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents the West Coast premiere of Old Clown Wanted by Romanian-French playwright Matei Visniec in a new translation from the French by Jeremy Lawrence. Romanian-born Florinel Fatulescu directs for a Sept. 22 opening, with performances continuing through Nov. 4 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A.

A celebration of ?All Things Italian,' this special event will be held at historic home of President Grover Cleveland, known as Westland Mansion. The evening will spotlight the musical and culinary arts of Italy, with an intimate house concert followed by sumptuous buffet dinner and silent audition. The music begins at 5:00 p.m.

On Friday evening July 6, 2018, Pacific Opera Project (POP) presented Gioachino Rossini's little known opera LA GAZZETTA at the newly outfitted Ebell Club in Los Angeles. The area where patrons sat at tables was surrounded with a semi-circle of single seats. Every seat has been sold for the entire two-weekend run of GAZZETTA but it is likely that we will hear more from this bubbly,
