West End Hit THE FERRYMAN Begins Broadway Previews Tomorrow

The Broadway engagement of Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman, the critically acclaimed, wildly popular play directed by Sam Mendes, begins performances tomorrow at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street). The production will celebrate opening night on Sunday, October 21.

The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre box office (242 W. 45th Street) is now open for Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman. The play, directed by Sam Mendes, arrives on Broadway this fall. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions, previews begin Tuesday, October 2 ahead of a Sunday, October 21 opening night. Papatango has just released rehearsal photos of Orca - Matt Grinter's winning entry from a record 1053 submissions to the 8th annual Papatango New Writing Prize. Alice Hamilton directs Aden Gillett, Simon Gregor, Carla Langley, Rona Morison and Ellie Turner in the production opening at Southwark Playhouse on 4 November, with previews from 2 November, running until 26 November. Design is by Frankie Bradshaw, with lighting by Johanna Town and sound by Richard Hammarton.

CUDDLES Set for 2015 Brits Off Broadway Festival

59E59 Theaters will welcome Ovalhouse and Arch 468 to the 2015 Brits Off Broadway festival with CUDDLES, written by Joseph Wilde and directed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord. CUDDLES begins performances on Wednesday, June 3 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 28. Press opening is Tuesday, June 9 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 & 7:30 PM.
