MPAC's 2018-2019 season promises to be one full of amazing concerts, musicals, family events, dance and even Vicki Lawrence's Mama.

The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. Also coming as part of the Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico series are Finding Neverland, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the newly-restaged Cats. RENT 20THANNIVERSARY TOUR will also tour to Popejoy as a Broadway Extra.

Barrington Stage Company and 1Berkshire in partnership kick off this year's ½ TIX program on June 12, 2018. This popular program, in its 17th year, offers half-price tickets to residents and visitors throughout the Berkshires. Patrons can buy same-day half-price tickets to performances at three conveniently-located ½ TIX booths:  Barrington Stage Company Box Office at 30 Union Street, Pittsfield, Lenox Chamber Visitors Center at 4 Housatonic Street, Lenox and the Triplex Cinema at 70 Railroad Street, Great Barrington. The program runs through September 8, 2018, Tuesday through Sunday from noon until 4:30pm. ½ TIX booths are closed Mondays with ticket sales for Mondays sold on Sundays.

Art lovers of all kinds gathered this evening at Montalvo Arts Center's historic Villa to hear the Silicon Valley venue announce its 2018-2019 Carriage House Theatre Concert Series launching in October. The offerings span from music to theatre to comedy and more; among the exciting headliners announced were Grammy Awards nominees and winners performing jazz, bluegrass, pop, rock, classical, new age, folk, and Hawaiian music, as well as top comedy productions, theatre events and others. The Capitol Steps, known for putting the 'Mock' in democracy and being an 'equal opportunity offender,' returns to the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) to perform a mix of material from their newest album, 'Orange is the New Barack,' and traditional audience favorites Today, May 12 at 4 and 8 p.m.   

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces British pop star Howard Jones ("What is Love?") and more. The following shows go on sale to the public on Thursday, May 10 at noon. All tickets will be available at citywinery.com/chicago.

City Winery at the Riverwalk, 11 W. Riverwalk South, announces a free performance by She's Crafty on Thursday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. Raffles and proceeds from two specialty cocktails will benefit Chicago Period Project and Gilda's Club Chicago.

The Capitol Steps, the political musical satire group that has been putting the "mock" in democracy since 1981, returns to Northampton's Academy of Music Theatre for their first appearance in Paradise City since 2009, with one performance only on Friday, April 20 at 7:30PM.

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup as it begins its fourth decade of presenting world-class artists and entertainers for Coachella Valley audiences.  The new season includes McCallum debuts, iconic superstars, family-friendly entertainment, holiday sensations, with some mariachi, Bollywood, ballet, comedy and entertaining geography lessons all part of a very full and exciting season that also presents an outstanding roster of  Broadway favorites.

The Capitol Steps return to the Warner Theatre with an all-new show on Saturday, April 21 at 8 pm. The Capitol Steps works overtime to capture the new administrations' antics in satire and song. And since The Capitol Steps find their laughs in materials ripped from today's and tomorrow's headlines you never know whether Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions, or Kim Jong-un might appear from Mar-A-Lago or The White House.

The Capitol Steps return to Hampshire County or their first performance since 2010. They last played the Academy of Music in 2009. The political musical satire troupe has been a national institution for over 35 years, providing a unique blend of musical and political comedy and satire to audiences coast-to-coast.. Each show consists of tasteful lampooning guaranteed to leave both sides of the political spectrum laughing. The troupe started in 1981. Since then, they have appeared on "The Today Show," "ABC News Nightline," "CBS Evening News" and on specials for NPR. 

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is once again offering audience members a dazzling, star-packed lineup of amazing shows, memorable concerts, insightful lectures and very special events during the months of March and April.

The Science Theater Company, the newly formed theatre company founded by Producer Eric Krebs that uses the magic of theatre to make science fun, will do just that this spring. That Physics Show - now in its 3rd year Off Broadway - recipient of the 2016 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, written and performed by lifetime physics demonstrator David Maiullo (and his alternate, fellow physics demonstrator Andrew Yolleck) and That Chemistry Show, written by Borislaw Bilash which both delight, amaze and educate audiences will be performed in repertory for an open ended engagement at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street just east of Broadway) beginning, Saturday, February 17, 2018.
