'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be 'The Proud Family' without Penny's loyal crew Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and more.

Disney+ has released first-look character images for a star-studded roster of guest cast featured in the new original series, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” premiering with two episodes February 23 on Disney+. The images introduce us to characters voiced by Lizzo, Al Roker, Lamorne Morris, Lena Waithe, and more.

Cast members reprising their roles from the original series include Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama, Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer, Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez, and more.

It’s time to get loud with the Prouds in the trailer debut for “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.” The new series, based on the Disney Channel series from the 2000s, will feature some of music and entertainment's biggest names, including Keke Palmer; Lizzo; Lil Nas X; Chance the Rapper; Normani; Leslie Odom Jr.; & Tiffany Haddish.

Disney+ has ordered the long-anticipated revival of the groundbreaking animated series 'The Proud Family' which, 18 years after its Disney Channel premiere, is still beloved for its characters, stories and multilayered humor and for its messages about inclusion and cultural diversity in a smart, modern way. The new animated family sitcom 'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' is currently in production at Disney Television Animation with Academy Award-winning creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar, who led the original series, at the helm, reuniting them with Calvin Brown, Jr. who is co-executive producer and story editor.

Since 2007, drummer/composer Brian Jones has been presenting Mingus Awareness Project concerts in Richmond. This year's concert will take place on Sun, June 9 @ 7pm at Firehouse Theatre, 1609 W. The Shaker Heights High School Theatre Arts Department presents the thirty-sixth festival of new plays, written, directed, performed and co-produced by students, Stages 36: Shaker New Plays Series, March 21, 22, 23 & 24 at 7 PM with a 9:15 PM show on Friday, March 23, in our intimate black box theatre, Stage 3. Six ten-minute plays will be presented as part of a full season of theatrical events, which began with Sense and Sensibility and Carrie, the musical, and concludes with Origin: A Spring Ensemble Show, in April.
