Tickets are now on sale for Tongues a'Wagging at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in North Palm Beach. This will be the first community-wide story telling event and will feature true stories written and read by the people who lived them. In honor of Valentine's Day, the topic for the evening will be A Once and Forever Love.

Managing Director Donna M. Carbone announced that she is looking for a few good story tellers to put in the spotlight on stage at the Burt Reynolds Institute. Tongues a'Wagging is a new and unique opportunity for residents of Palm Beach County to tell their personal stories to an eager audience. The topic for the first Tongues a'Wagging is A Once and Forever Love - a Valentine's Day special. It will be held on Saturday evening, February 9, 2019, at 7 pm. The cost for tickets is $20.00 and will include a talk back with the storytellers at the end of the evening. There is no charge to submit a story for this event.

ABC celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with special '25 Days of Christmas' programming starting Dec. 1. The network joins Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior in this fan-favorite TV event. The 'Kickoff to Christmas' begins in late November with perennial holiday treat 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.' The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' and 'The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,' and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2019.

Tony award-winner, Elizabeth Ashley ("Take Her She's Mine") and Tony nominee Tom Hewitt ("The Rocky Horror Show") will headline a refreshed production of Paul Rudnick's witty, laugh out loud comedy, "I Hate Hamlet" at Bucks County Playhouse, November 9 - December 1. The play marks Ashley's return to the Playhouse after co-starring opposite Robert Redford in the pre-Broadway production of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park."

Managing Director Donna M. Carbone announced that the Burt Reynolds Institute will honor veterans with a production of her play Shell of a Man November 15-16-17, 2018. Shell of a Man is based on the life of an actual Vietnam veteran and focuses on the effects of his 45-plus year battle with PTSD. Her goal is to personalize this much talked about but barely understood condition in order to raise awareness of the need for better healthcare for our men and women in uniform.
