Tickets Now On Sale For TONGUES A'WAGGING at Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in North Palm Beach
Tickets are now on sale for Tongues a'Wagging at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in North Palm Beach. This will be the first community-wide story telling event and will feature true stories written and read by the people who lived them. In honor of Valentine's Day, the topic for the evening will be A Once and Forever Love.
"The submissions from local residents have been overwhelming," Managing Director Donna M. Carbone said, "and the stories are much different than I anticipated. It's become clear to me that love is a shape shifter. It changes depending on who or what people love and how they are loved in return. I believe the audience will be surprised by the honesty, humor and poignancy in these stories."
Tongues a'Wagging - A Once and Forever Love - will be held on Saturday evening, February 9, 2019, at 7 pm. The cost for tickets is $20.00 and will include a talk back with the storytellers at the end of the evening.
Tongues a'Wagging is a unique offering in our local community. To be a part of this event, Palm Beach County residents submitted a 1200 word essay which was reviewed through a juried selection process. The writers of the eight stories chosen will be the stars of the evening, when each shares their essay with the audience.
For tickets and information, contact Donna Carbone at 561 743-9955.
