Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has announced the complete principal casts, creative teams, and events planned for the previously announced summer season.

Summer Season 2023 at Spencer Theater is a three-month spread of 13 stage performances and special events featuring top country artists, folk-rock greats and early rock tributes, big band pizazz, a patriotic salute, comedy, children's theatre, fine-dining fun, and so much more with some of the finest stage artists and troupes on the road.

Produced once again by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, Sweet Western Sound reunites the award-winning trio following the release of Tanya’s landmark 2019 album, While I’m Livin’. Her first new album in 17 years, While I’m Livin’ reintroduced Tanya to a new generation and went on to win the GRAMMY for Best Country Album.

Emmy-winner and Tony-nominee Gordon Clapp, who played Detective Greg Medavoy for all 12 seasons on ABC’s “NYPD Blue,” will star as Tommy McDonald in a new production of Ray Didinger’s “Tommy and Me,” at Bucks County Playhouse, May 19 through June 17.

Joining the previously announced Tony Award-nominee Constantine Maroulis and Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano, the 18-member cast began rehearsals today for the new musical which celebrates the life of the trailblazing DJ Alan Freed.

He may have lived way before my time, but Buddy Holly’s music is some of my favourite and it’s an absolute treat to see it performed live by the talented cast of BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY. This musical is a toe-tapping spectacle of lights, dancing and great music.

All new photos have been released from the Gala performance of Disney's WINNIE THE POOH THE MUSICAL at Riverside Studios yesterday, Sunday 26 March. Guests included Alex Jones, Anneka Rice, Charlene White, James & Ola Jordan, Rachel Riley & Pasha Kovalev, Tamara Ecclestone and Vanessa Feltz.

Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano has joined the cast of Rock & Roll Man. Pantoliano, known affectionately as “Joey Pants,” will star alongside the previously announced Tony Award-nominee Constantine Maroulis in the New York premiere of the new musical celebrating the life of the legendary Alan Freed.

The production, to be directed by Ciara Renée (Waitress, Frozen), will play a limited engagement from May 7-28, 2023, at Theatre 71 at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
