Isle of Shoals will be mounting its first in-person production since March of 2020. This announcement comes alongside new leadership for the company. Bryan Williams, former AD and IOS co-founder, will step into the role of Managing Director- continuing to work closely with the company while producing new content.

'Tis the season of waiting for 'It's a Wonderful Life' to appear on television, and Isle of Shoals has just the treat to satisfy that craving. Paradise Lost & Found is a buoyant new comedy by Tirosh Schneider, directed by Katie Young*, about a hapless soul entangled in the bureaucracy of the Afterlife. Jack Klugman (no, not the actor), a 49-year-old sunglasses salesman riddled with regrets, arrives at the Pearly Gates of Heaven -- only it's St. Peter's day off and Joan of Arc is filling in. Jack's file has gone missing, so his eternal fate is TBD. It turns out that he needs to be judged, first by his father who's disqualified due to the blatant conflict of interest, finally by a moody 18-year-old who has her own issues to deal with. Somehow they manage to sift through the events of Jack's life (and hers as well), forming an unlikely bond. Paradise Lost & Found is a funny and wistful comedy about love, loss, and the joy of connecting with one another, even in topsy-turvy circumstances.

The musical is conceived and written by Bryan Williams and the late Lance Hewett, with music and lyrics by Williams. The production is directed by Stephen Ryan, who had a first-hand experience as a member of rescue and recovery team at Ground Zero. OCCUPATION: DRAGONSLAYER will begin previews tonight, September 8th, open today, September 15th, and play a limited engagement through September 25th. In a festive celebration at XL Night Club on Monday, July 23, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation announced 6 nominations for the Isle of Shoals Production of That Lady from Maxim's, including Outstanding Production of a Musical. Bryan Williams, who contributed book, music and lyrics for the musical-farce, was nominated for both Outstanding Original Music and Original Full-Length Script; Lance Hewett received a nomination for Outstanding Director; two performers from the musical were nominated, Amara Haaksman for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role and Marissa Rosano for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role; and the entire cast received a nomination for Outstanding Ensemble (Amanda Baumler, Michael R. Buscemi, Amara Haaksman, Arthur Lundquist, Alex Mace, John Mervini, Tom Morin, Anna Price, Marissa Rosano, Stephen Ryan and Cecilia Vaicels).
