The world premiere of Broadway Bounty Hunter, took place at Barrington Stage Company last night and Broadwayworld was there for the opening night festivities at the Sydelle & Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center.
Broadway Bounty Hunter features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis (Be More Chill, The Black Suits, Bloodsong of Love), book by Joe Iconis, Lance Rubin (author of Denton Little's Deathdate) and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Off Broadway: Once Upon A Mattress), and choreography by Jeffrey Page (Broadway's Violet). Joel Waggoner (BSC's Presto Change-O, Southern Comfort) serves as music director.

Ann Hampton Callaway & Amanda McBroom, two of the most celebrated song-writing Divas, brought their show Devalicious to Barrington Stage Company last night and Broadwayworld was there. Last night at it's annual Cabaret Gala it presented Broadway legend Chita Rivera, whose stage career has spanned a remarkable six decades.
The Museum of the City of New York presents Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao's New York: Assembled Realities,featuring more than 40 large-scale panoramic photographs of the City's urban landscape by Taiwanese artist Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao, who came to New York to study photography in 1999 at the age of 18. Pushing the boundaries of traditional documentary photography, Liao (b. 1977) creates large-scale panoramas by combining multiple exposures of the same location taken over the course of several hours. The resulting composite photographs are often fantastical-complex, hyper-real views that no single shot-or the eye-could capture. Liao has spent the past decade honing his distinctive style, making images of his adopted city from the Grand Concourse to Coney Island, the old Shea Stadium to the 72nd Street Subway. Originating at Barrington Stage Company (BSC) and now in its 8th year, the 'Ridiculously Talented' concert series has become a hallmark of BSC's Musical Theatre Lab, where Mr. Finn serves as Artistic Producer.
