The 'Smash' star and Broadway vet welcomed baby daughter Viola Philomena yesterday, Thursday, September 18th in New York City!

Leonard Bernstein titled a book 'The Joy Of Music'. The first time I attended a New York Pops concert with Steven Reineke at the helm that's the first thing I thought of. By the time the last note was played I realized the Pops new music director was much more than that. Steven also represents The Joy Of Life. Then, Steven met Eric, an equivalently matched person with whom to travel on life's journey.

Megan Hilty, was a breakout star of NBC's "Smash" and starred on Broadway in "Wicked" and "9 to 5: The Musical." She most recently starred as Liz on NBC's "Sean Saves The World" with Sean Hayes of "Will & Grace" fame. She returns to the original Broadway @ The Art House series this month by popular demand after her sold-out debut run at the theater last summer. She will be joined by husband and fellow Broadway star Brian Gallagher on guitar August 13, 14, 15 & 18, and will be joined by series host and SiriusXM star Seth Rudetsky at piano on August 16 & 17. Congratulations to Megan Hilty! The Broadway and SMASH star told US Weekly that she is expecting her first child. She and her husband, Brian Gallagher, received the news on Gallagher's birthday. Hilty stated, 'We took the test together. It was the best present he got this year -- or any other year for that matter!'

Megan Hilty will perform with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra January 24-26, 2014. Hilty made her debut with the Cincinnati Pops back in 2009 when she stepped in at a moments notice for an ailing Kristin Chenoweth. Audiences were blown away and her return has been eagerly anticipated ever since.
