Celina Carvajal, Tracy McDowell & More Set for Broadway Sessions' 5th Anniversary Concert, 6/13
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
This Thursday, June 13th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate 5 years of weekly shows with a star studded celebration.
Performers currently schedule to perform include Celina Carvajal (Kinky Boots), Kate Rockwell (Rock of Ages), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Happy McPartlin (Hands on a Hardbody), Brian Gallagher (Jekyll and Hyde), Trevor Braun (The Little Mermaid), Maddy Trumble (Mary Poppins), Colin Cunliffe (Pippin), Allison Semmes (The Book of Mormon), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Matt DeAngelis (Hair), Tiffany Haas (Wicked), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Donnie Kehr (Billy Elliot), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Priscilla..), Greg Reuter (Shrek), Cody Scott Lancaster (Rock of Ages), Carly Sakolove (Newsical), acoustic musical trio Siren and a host of other past guests from the last five years of Broadway Sessions....the evening will serve as the birthday celebration for creator/host Ben Cameron
Open Mic party follows the show til 2 am.
Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9thavenue). 212-695-6909. Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. $5 drink specials all night. $5 cover includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. www.BroadwaySessions.net
