Trevor Nunn Directs David Threlfall, Niall Buggy, Lisa Dwan and James Hayes In A Beckett Triple Bill At Jermyn Street

Jermyn Street Theatre kicks off its 2020 season with three of Samuel Beckett's finest short plays. The Beckett Triple Bill will be directed by Trevor Nunn and feature the stellar cast of Niall Buggy, Lisa Dwan, James Hayes and David Threlfall. These works are as funny as they are poignant, as compelling as they are lyrical and, together, they demonstrate Beckett's remarkable range, inventiveness, and wit.

Bay Street Theater Announces 2020 Summer Mainstage Season

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the 2020 Summer Mainstage Season. The three productions will be: WINDFALL (May 26 - June 14), a new comedy by Scooter Pietsch, DANCING AT LUGHNASA (June 23 - July 19) by Brian Friel, and the musical RAGTIME (August 4 - September 6), with book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens; based on the novel by E.L. Keen Company announces new accessibility programs for blind or low vision patrons for the acclaimed production of Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney starring Paul O'Brien, Pamela Sabaugh and Tommy Schrider, directed by Keen's Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. Performances for the limited Off-Broadway engagement of Molly Sweeney will continue through November 16th only.

Goodman Theatre Announces Venue And Date Changes For Two Spring 2020 Productions

Artistic Director Robert Falls announces an update to Goodman Theatre's 2019/2020 Season. The Chicago premiere of School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play by Jocelyn Bioh, directed by Lili-Anne Brown, originally scheduled for the Owen Theatre, will move into the 856-seat Albert Theatre; the Falls-directed major revival of Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel, originally scheduled for the Albert Theatre, will move into the 350-seat flexible Owen Theatre.

MOLLY SWEENEY Begins Performances Tomorrow

Keen Company will begin performances tomorrow, Tuesday October 8th, for the first play of Keen's 20th season: Paul O'Brien, Pamela Sabaugh and Tommy Schrider will star in Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney directed by Keen's Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. 

Ian Rickson Directs Conor McPherson's New Adaptation Of Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA at the Harold Pinter Theatre

Sonia Friedman Productions today announced Conor McPherson's (The Weir, Girl from the North Country) new adaptation of Anton Chekhov's masterpiece Uncle Vanya directed by Ian Rickson (Jerusalem, The Seagull) which will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 14th January 2020 with Opening Night on Thursday 23rd January 2020. Tickets go on general sale from Monday 30th September with priority booking from Wednesday 25th September.

Subtitled a?oeA Mystery,a?? in it, a preacher and a poet are in love with the same woman. The former is her husband, the latter wants to woo her away, and both are shocked by her ultimate choice and the reasons for it.
