The Winchester Dondero Cultural Center officially reopened its theater with a socially-distanced concert by the Youth Camerata Orchestra. The event was held at the center in Las Vegas on Friday, February 19, 2021.

The Metromen were a New York City-based rock group of the late 1970s, early 1980s, that created their own brand of punk/rock music aiming to combine sophistication and humor. The Metromen rose out of the new wave period which was typified at the time by acts such as Joe Jackson, The Police and Elvis Costello, all of which were a large influence on the music and style of the band.

Former Nevada Governor Bob Miller will be signing his new book, Son of a Gambling Man, My Journey from a Casino Family to the Governor's Mansion, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Hudson News store in Terminal 1 at McCarran Las Vegas International Airport today, March 15. This is an open to the public, pre-screening area of the airport.
