You’ve likely heard, watched, or encountered Real Women Have Curves—from the beloved 2002 film starring America Ferrera or its recent Tony-nominated Broadway musical—but it goes back to the original play of the same name that Josefina López wrote when she was just 18.
CASA 0101 Theater will present a new production of Josefina López's signature award-wining play, Real Women Have Curves, directed by Corky Dominguez, starring Stefany Arroyo, Yasha Alaniz, Bianca Araceli, Amy Melendrez and Laura Vega.
PCPA has announced the return of Pastorela – El Ermitaño, the beloved holiday production that celebrates the richness of Mexican cultural tradition. Presented in partnership with Tierra Blanca Arts Center, this 60-minute play in Spanish takes the stage at the Severson Theatre for limited performances, December 12th at 7:30PM and the 13th at 11AM and 3PM.

This new production of the iconic Latina story that inspired the Sundance award-winning film of the same name, is set in present day and features script updates that tackle issues women face today, making it as relevant now as it was when first written in 1988. The production runs from Oct. 12 through Nov. 18.
