In anticipation of the gala 30th anniversary celebration of The First Night Awards, Tennessee's best and brightest in live theater were revealed tonight as First Night's Top Ten of 2018 - reviewer and critic Jeffrey Ellis' annual recognition for theater in the Volunteer State - were announced during a Facebook Live presentation from Nashville.

Cumberland County Playhouse officially launches summer in Crossville on June 16, with a spectacular new production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy-Award winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the memorable songs from the animated film like "Be Our Guest," and the beloved title song, plus a few new songs written especially for the Broadway musical.
Just in time for the Halloween season, Cumberland County Playhouse presents its version of the recent Broadway hit The Addams Family - starring Playhouse favorite Jason Ross and newcomer Audrey Moore as Gomez and Morticia Addams - onstage in Crossville beginning tonight (Friday, September 30) and running through November 12.
