The Hollywood Bowl's production of Monty Python's SPAMALOT (which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005) is running this weekend only at the legendary venue and we've got photos of the production below! 

Definitely one of this current millennium's funniest stage shows, the world-famous Hollywood Bowl certainly chose wisely in its decision to stage the hit musical comedy Monty Python's SPAMALOT as this year's all-star annual summer stage musical spectacular, which was welcomed with plenty of sustained, hearty laughter and a well-deserved standing ovation during its opening night performance on Friday evening, July 31st. The nearly 18,000-seat venue's truncated, yet still enormously entertaining re-staging of the 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical continues with two additional weekend performances, August 1-2.

Hollywood Bowl succeeds again with their most entertaining, head-shakingly pun-ny, visually stimulating production of Monty Python's Spamalot. Director BT McNicholl keeps his talented cast soft-shoe-ing, high kicking, horse-riding, sword lifting and just laugh-inducing at a steady, 'can't catch my breath from laughing' pace.

The much anticipated 2005 Tony Award-winning Best Musical - Monty Python's Spamalot - has finally arrived and is in rehearsal in Los Angeles for its July 31 - August 2, 2015 run at the historic Hollywood Bowl; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the cast.

Theatre by the Sea continues its 2015 season with a colorful and thoroughly enjoyable production of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID. This highly anticipated theatrical event starts today, July 22, and plays through Saturday, August 15. Press night is scheduled for Friday, July 24 at 8:00pm.

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed the final casting for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005. Those joining the starry company are Broadway vets Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred, and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot.

Craig J. George directs a cast of ten, including Jennifer Apple, Rachel Coloff*, Rhys Gilyeat*, Zachary Infante*, Stephen Mark, Anthea Neri*, Rachel Rhodes-Devey*, Brooke Shapiro*, Kevin Sims*, and Max Wilcox*. It all depends on just how surprised you are willling to be, just how comfortable you are at being caught off guard by a unique brand of comedy that Python's fans know only too well. Pre-show Googling or not, the true enjoyment of the show comes from just sitting back, relaxing and letting yoruself be wrapped in the warm embrace of some of the most weird, wacky, irreverant and witty comedy you ever likely to see in a Broadway musical.

Music Theatre of Wichita kicks off its 42nd summer season this week with the first of its five large-scale productions. With the theme 'The British Are Coming!,' all five titles this summer are linked, by theme or origin, to the United Kingdom.
