The Madison Square Garden Company announced today the unprecedented 55th consecutive show by legendary musician and MSG franchise Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden on August 23, 2018. The August show is part of his residency at The World's Most Famous Arena, which began in January 2014 with Joel playing one show per month at The Garden. With the on-sale of the August show, Billy will make concert history by hitting one million tickets sold over the course of his 55-show residency at MSG.

On January 29, 1993, the Lowcountry entertainment scene changed forever. On this date, the North Charleston Coliseum opened its doors for the first time. The show was World Figure Skating Champions featuring Olympic champions Elizabeth Manley and Marina Klimova & Sergio Ponomarenko.  The next night, country music superstars Alan Jackson and Lorrie Morgan took the stage for the first concert in the Coliseum.
