The Players announces its next Pipe Night, honoring Tony Award-nominated composer and writer Joe Iconis (Be More Chill). A favorite Players tradition that has celebrated significant cultural figures for over a century, the Pipe Night for Mr. Iconis will be held on Monday, September 9th starting at 6:30 pm at The Players, located at 16 Gramercy Park South.

Two-time Emmy nominated South African comedian, Loyiso Gola, announces the off-Broadway run of his show, Loyiso Gola: Unlearning, running April 10 - 21 at SoHo Playhouse in New York City. Following the off-Broadway run, Loyiso will perform at The Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, TX, April 24 - 27. Carnegie Hall's citywide festival, Migrations: The Making of America kicks off with Live from Here with Chris Thile on Saturday, March 9 at 5:45 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Debs Composer's Chair Chris Thile is joined by Grammy Award-winning banjo player Béla Fleck, renowned bassist Edgar Meyer, multi-award winning Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis, and Irish-American singer and songwriter Aoife O'Donovan for an evening of traditional Scots, Irish, and American folk music.

BAM curates a selection of international, independent, and classic movies perfect for film-going families. The winter/spring season includes an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island starring the Muppets, Dutch stop motion animation Miffy, the Oscar-nominated time traveling Japanese animation Mirai, the best of the 2019 BAMkids Film Festival, and a selection from the 2019 FilmAfrica festival.

The one-and-only Isaac Mizrahi - celebrated fashion icon, singer, raconteur - will bring his singular talent, humor and charm to the McCarter Theater Center stage (91 University Place, Princeton, NJ) for one-night-only on Friday, March 1st as he kicks off a national tour with a brand new show, I&ME, in conjunction with the release of his memoir I.M., to be published by Flatiron Books on February 26, it has been announced by the tour's producer Arnold Engelman.

Director Florence Kosky All The World's A Stage is a film that aims to break down the stigmas surrounding suicide and mental health after the director experienced the loss of one of her friends. Since it's festival run, this wonderful film screened at the Oscar qualifying Hollyshorts Film Festival and will be screening at Raindance Film Festival and Norwich Film Festival. The cast includes Olivia Colman (Broadchurch, Murder on the Orient Express), Jonathan Forbes (Fearless, Catastrophe) and Amber Anderson (CB Strike: The Cuckoo Calling, Black Mirror).

Following a sell-out show in 2014, Shakespeare's Globe is delighted to announce the return of Andrew Logan's Alternative Miss World on Saturday 20 October. Joining Andrew as co-host will be actor Sara Kestelman.

The Nordic International Film Festival is now in its 4th year. Due to popular demand and a higher number of film submissions, this year the festival has been expanded to 5 Days, making it the biggest Nordic festival outside of Europe.  The 4th Nordic International Film Festival (NIFF) will be held from October 31st – November 4th at Scandinavia House in New York.

The new set of NYC performances will run June 20 through June 30 following two Los Angeles performances at Largo on June 6 and 7, 2018.
