It's never too early to think about Halloween, and who better to celebrate the fast-approaching holiday with than the denizens of Dr. Frank N. Furter's home-sweet-castle in Richard O'Brien's beloved cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show.

The Carbonell Awards have announced four new judges. They will bring the total number of Carbonell judges to 46, including 18 in Broward County, 11 in Miami-Dade, and 17 in Palm Beach County.

The Carbonell Awards adds four new judges to its panel, bringing the total number to 42. These judges will evaluate productions at professional theaters across South Florida.

The Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Co. will present HANDS UP! The New Black Fest’s Hands Up! 7 Playwrights, 7 Testaments on Friday, October 7, Saturday 8 at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, Saturday, 15 at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m.

Boom! This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in theatre. The musical, produced by KWP Productions, will run from November 4th through November 11th at the Bhetty Waldron Theater at Bob Carter's Actor's Workshop and Repertory Company in West Palm Beach.  

How on earth can three men do the impossible: act through Shakespeare's entire canon - 37 plays - in 97 minutes? KWP Productions' second offering in their newly expanded season will try to answer that question when they present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] at the Bhetty Waldron Theatre in West Palm Beach from October 14 - 23.

KWP Productions will start off their expanded season in their new location with a delightful comedy sure to please audiences of all ages.  It Had To Be You will open at the Bhetty Waldron Theater at Actor's Rep on August 19th and run through September 4th. 

KWP Productions has an ambitious season planned for 2016 - 2017.  The company will produce 6 'adult' plays and 3 children's productions at the Bhetty Waldron Theater at Actor's Rep in West Palm Beach.
