Evening Star Productions will kick off their newest project, Sol After Dark, with a one-act adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. The production, which will run for just three days from October 26th to 28th is the first of what Evening Star's Artistic Director Rosalie Grant says will be something a little off the beaten theatre path for those hungry for a different bite of theatre.

The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, present the first show of its 2017-2018 season, the world premiere of STUPID KID, written by acclaimed playwright Sharr White (The Other Place) and directed by Cameron Watson (Cat on A Hot Tin Roof).

In celebration of the upcoming sixth and final season of The Mindy Project, The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills will showcase the bold color palette and trendsetting style of the critically acclaimed Hulu original comedy series, in an immersive and first-of-its-kind exhibit curated by the series' Emmy-nominated Costume Designer and President of the Costume Designers Guild, Salvador Perez, that will run exclusively at the Paley Center beginning August 26, 2017.

Theatre Southwest presents the 20th Annual Festival of Originals (FOO). Produced by Artistic Director Mimi Holloway, The FOO produces five original 20-minute plays from writers across the country (and sometimes the world.)

Alexandra Billings has been set to host the 27th Annual LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, January 17 at the Ahmanson Theatre at The Music Center. Red carpet arrivals begin at 6pm and the ceremony begins at 7:30pm.

Skylight Theatre's Artistic Director Gary Grossman will be honored at Skylight's SALUTE 2016 December 4 at the Colony Theatre in Burbank. Gary has been the driving common denominator of the Skylight Theatre Company and its previous incarnations: the Katselas Theatre company and the Camelot Artists Productions before.  

On Sunday, October 16, the wildly popular cabaret benefit, Les Girls, returned to the stage for its 16th annual celebration. Hosted by Ari Graynor (For a Good Time, Call...), the event kicked off with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a sexy and wickedly funny evening of entertainment, made possible by the donated performances of some of Hollywood's top personalities!
