In light of KINKY BOOTS' 13 Tony nominations and the show's upcoming cast album release, it's only fitting that the musical's producers are looking beyond Broadway. According to the Daily Mail, Kinky Boots is eyeing the West End, though when the show will transfer across the pond is far from set.

Cafe Cabaret is an eclectic variety/cabaret show with a rotating cast of performers. With a new cast every month, the show is always fresh. From poignant to funny, mirth to disaster it all happens at Cafe Ballou, every third Friday of every month. Cafe Ballou is located @ 939 N Western. The show begins @ 7pm.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Kenneth Lin's Warrior Class. Kenneth Lin is a staff writer on Netflix's House of Cards and the creator of a new limited series, American Way, for USA Networks. Warrior Class, which won the Theatre Communications Group Edgerton New Play Prize, is directed by Wilson Milam and runs May 3 through June 2, 2013 on the Neuhaus Stage.

Masterworks Broadway has just announced the release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots. Produced by Cyndi Lauper, Stephen Oremus, William Wittman and Sammy James, Jr., the album will be available on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013.

This May, Bang on a Can is producing three simultaneous international touring programs: in Europe featuring the renowned Bang on a Can All-Stars; in Beijing, China featuring the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra combined with a Festival Ensemble of musicians culled from its annual Summer Festival at Mass MoCA, and in Mexico featuring its renegade mobile ensemble Asphalt Orchestra.

Cornelia Street Cafe presents the Mat Maneri Trio featuring Mat Maneri, viola, Ed Schuller, bass and Randy Peterson, drums. This concert will be the 20 year anniversary of this contrapuntal trio who will be playing a collection of music from their past 3 recordings as well as new material. The trio have worked together over the years to try and push the boundaries of what a jazz trio can be, incorporating fresh ways of interpreting modern classical, swing and other forms of music.

The Center Players of Bayonne have assembled Tribe members that are gearing up and preparing a theatrical presentation of HAIR: The Rock Musical at the JCC of Bayonne. Lyrics are by James Rado & Gerome Ragni, Music by Galt MacDermot. The production is Directed and Choreographed by Alex Perez (De La Guarda, Ultimate Drag Off, Oz) and Musical Direction by Luisa Sauter. The Howard County Arts Council has announced the distribution of awards totaling $15,000 to its 2013 Arts Scholarship recipients. Receiving a $2,000 scholarship are Devon Bragg, Visual Art, Oakland Mills High School; Stephanie Ichniowski, Vocal Music, Reservoir High School; Valerie Kamen, Vocal Music, Hammond High School; John Kantelis, Visual Art, Atholton High School; Emily Lowe, Dance, Marriotts Ridge High School; Yaeji Shin, Instrumental Music, Atholton High School; and Jennifer Wegman, Instrumental Music, Hammond High School. Receiving a $1,000 scholarship is Allison Berger, Literary Art, River Hill High School.
