Porchlight Music Theatre to Present Original 1940 Broadway Version of PAL JOEY, 4/20-5/26

Porchlight Music Theatre presents Pal Joey, book by John O'Hara, music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart, April 20 - May 26, at Stage 773, 1225 West Belmont Ave. Directed by Porchlight Music Theatre's Artistic Director, Michael Weber with music direction by Porchlight Artistic Associate Doug Peck (reuniting with Weber for the first time since their collaboration on Porchlight's triumphant production of Assassins) and choreography by Porchlight Artistic Associate Brenda Didier, Pal Joey stars Adrian Aguliar, 'Joey Evans,' Susie McMonagle, 'Vera Simpson,' Laura Savage, 'Linda English,' Matt Orlando, 'Ludlow Lowell' and Sharriese Hamilton, 'Gladys Bumps.'

Three Cat Productions Announces SOLO CHICAGO Lineup

Three Cat Productions is excited to announce the lineup for its inaugural presentation of the SOLO Chicago festival. SOLO Chicago will feature individual performances by vocal artists, storytellers, and more. The festival will run Wednesdays through Saturdays, June 5-15, with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Berger Park Coach House Theater, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60660. SLCL's Westfall Series Presents Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist Steve Coll, 6/3

The St. Louis County Library Foundation's 'Buzz' Westfall Favorite Author Series is pleased to present Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and bestselling non-fiction author Steve Coll for a discussion and signing of his book “Private Empire: ExxonMobile and American Power.” The event will take place at Library Headquarters (1640 S. According to The Telegraph, Broadway's Foxwoods Theater could soon be purchased by the UK-based Ambassador Theater Group, which owns around 40 theaters across the pond. Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark currently runs at the Foxwoods.

Out of her grief, she started the Angels Fund charity, which helps comfort grieving parents who have lost a child. Rehearsals have begun for Wendy Schmidt's The Newlyweds, the sixth of seven plays being performed for the ChicagoNew Work Festival. Open rehearsals will be held all week from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. There will be a $5.00 suggested donation.
