Full casting is announced today for Once, which embarks on its first major UK tour from January 2020, following a run at Fairfield Halls, Croydon from Thursday 19 December to Saturday 11 January.

Full casting has today been announced for the landmark revival of the award-winning British musical The Hired Man, co-produced by the Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and Hull Truck Theatre in association with Oldham Coliseum Theatre. This epic heroic tale of love, betrayal and loyalty opens in Hornchurch (27 April - 18 May), transfers to Hull (23 May - 15 June) and concludes in Oldham (20 June - 6 July).

The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch has today announced its ensemble cast of actor-musicians for its UK regional premiere of the Tony-Award winning musical ONCE. It will star Daniel Healy as Guy; he originally played Eamon and was also the understudy for Ronan Keating and Arthur Darvill as Guy in the West End production. ONCE runs at the Queen's Theatre from 3 - 20 October.

This time, he has put pen to paper to create a musical loosely based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet. Roll Over Beethoven boasts an original rock 'n' roll score against a backdrop of post-war England. Protaganist Johnny returns from National Service to attend his father's funeral where he notices his Mother and Uncle acting questionably. This, teamed with his Father revisiting him in various forms, further arouses suspicion surrounding his death.

It's true that on December 4, 1956, Sun Records was host to an incredible meeting of four gentleman (Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis) who would go on to lay the foundation for Rock 'n' Roll, but a listen to the actual recording made that day prove that it was a much simpler affair than what's presented in the stage musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. Still, the inspiration that story provides (book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux) makes for a rockin' good time, and this award-winning show is fun from start to finish.
