There's a "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On" at the Palace Theatre. That magic night in December 1956 is recreated when Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley came together for an impromptu jam session. It's no surprise they were dubbed "The MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET!"

Broadway in New Orleans announces tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. for the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by an electrifying true story. Tom Chambers and Summer Strallen take the lead roles of Jerry Travers and Dale Tremont in Top Hat which opened on Wednesday 9th May at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End where the show is currently booking until 26 January 2013. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will play its final performance at London's Noël Coward Theatre on Saturday 14 January 2012 whilst producers make plans for a major tour of the UK and Ireland. The London production has already been seen by over 200,000 people, played over 250 performances and grossed in excess of £5 million at the Box Office since its West End premiere.

According to Whatsonstage.com, the West End production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will close on January 14, 2012. Since its West End premiere, on 28 February 2011, this 'feel-good crowd-pleaser' (The Times) has been seen by over 100,000 people and grossed in excess of £3 million at the Box Office.

The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, the 'Father of Rock and Roll,' who discovered them all. The four young musicians united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording that has come to be known as one of the greatest rock jam sessions of all time.
