Troupe Announces Full Cast For The World Premiere Of Joy Wilkinson's THE SWEET SCIENCE OF BRUISING At Southwark Playhouse

Troupe today announces the full cast for the World Premiere of Joy Wilkinson's The Sweet Science of Bruising. Kirsty Patrick Ward directs Bruce Alexander (Professor Charlie Sharp), James Baxter (Paul Stokes), Sophie Bleasdale (Violet Hunter), Joe Coen (Gabriel Lamb), Ashley Cook (Doctor James Bell), Caroline Harker (Aunt George), Kemi-Bo Jacobs (Anna Lamb), Alice Kerrigan (Emily), Jessica Regan (Matilda 'Matty' Blackwell) and Fiona Skinner (Polly Stokes). The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 5 October, with previews from 3 October, and runs until 27 October.

Full Cast Announced For World Stage Premiere Of HIGH RIDIN'

Em-Lou Productions today announces full casting of world premiere of James Hogan's High Ridin' at the King's Head Theatre. Peter Darney directs Linda Beckett (Ivy), Tom Michael Blyth (Stan) and Chicho Tche (Ronnie). The production opens at the King's Head Theatre on Thursday 6 September with previews from Tuesday 4 September and runs until Saturday 22 September.

Shakespeare Theatre Company Announces Casting for THE COMEDY OF ERRORS

In honor of Artistic Director Michael Kahn's final season with the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC), the opening show of the 2018-2019 Season, William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, will feature beloved performers, many of whom have been with the Company since the very beginning.

Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today announce John Stahl (Big Ger Cafferty) and Cathy Tyson (Siobhan Clarke) will join Charles Lawson (John Rebus) in Rebus: Long Shadows, a brand new Rebus story written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro. Donmar Warehouse Announces Full Casting For MEASURE FOR MEASURE

The Donmar announces full casting for Artistic Director Josie Rourke's production of Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare. Joining the previously announced Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are Ben Allen, Matt Bardock, Nicholas Burns, Jackie Clune, Rachel Denning, Molly Harris, Adam McNamara, Raad Rawi, Sule Rimi, Anwar Russell and Helena Wilson.

Eleanor Lang to Be the New Executive Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East

Theatre Royal Stratford East is pleased to announce that Eleanor Lang has been appointed Executive Director from 1st October. Eleanor joins Theatre Royal Stratford East from Cheek by Jowl, where she is currently Executive Director, at the start of new Artistic Director Nadia Fall's inaugural season and will be working closely with Nadia on the overall strategic leadership of the theatre.

Jade Byrne in Association with Little Mighty Presents PRICKS

Jade Byrne is a theatre maker with type 1 diabetes, which is not type 2 diabetes. Over the past 29 years, she's had over 70,000 pricks (of the medical kind), and she'd like to set the record straight: she's not bankrupting the NHS, and she Can Eat Cake. From her own experience and with the support of JDRF, the world's leading type 1 diabetes research charity, she aims to clear up some of the common misconceptions, misunderstandings and misdiagnoses' around the disorder. Using spoken word, poetry, and an original soundscape, Jade tells her story about families, learning to care for each other better, and the ups and downs of dealing with a lot of pricks.

Ad Infinitum Presents NO KIDS

Anna Jordan's New Play THE UNRETURNING Will Have Its World Premiere At Theatre Royal Plymouth And Tour The UK

Today Frantic Assembly announces its tour dates of The Unreturning, a brand new co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth. Telling the interwoven stories of three men coming home from war, this new work by Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting winner Anna Jordan will be directed by Frantic Assembly associate director Neil Bettles and marks the 10th anniversary of Frantic Assembly's award-winning Ignition training programme. The Unreturning will have its world premiere at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 20 September 2018 before playing at various venues across the UK until 16 March 2019. Additional tour dates will be announced soon.

Shakespeare's Globe has announced its Winter Season for 2018/19 in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Featuring two pairings of plays by William Shakespeare and his celebrated counterpart, Christopher Marlowe, this call and response season opens on 7 November 2018. Throughout the season we are also inviting today's artists to examine, rework and elaborate on these 400-year-old provocations with new work written in response to Shakespeare and Marlowe.

Experiences Of Female Imprisonment Exposed In Fuel Theatre's LOCK HER UP

As the UK marks the centenary of women's victory in the fight for suffrage, for which hundreds of women were imprisoned, Fuel presents three specially commissioned sound installations exploring different aspects of female incarceration. Working with leading academics on the history of women's imprisonment at the University of Warwick and award-winning sound designer Gareth Fry, whose recent work includes Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on the West End and Broadway, Fuel will present the installations at a week-long exhibition at Tate Modern before touring the UK (dates tbc) and being made available online as a podcast series.
