Jake Shears has released his new record, Last Man Dancing. The project features the new single, a brand new collaboration with Kylie Minogue (“Voices”), plus recent singles “Too Much Music” and “I Used To be In Love”. Following a recent run of support sets in the UK with Duran Duran, Shears will take Last Man Dancing on the road this summer.

Labeled as “a black comedy about white trash,”Sordid Lives, though by name sounds like an unsavory show, is in actuality an enjoyable hootenanny. The setting is July 1988 in small-town Winters, Texas and everyone’s lives have been upturned by the peculiar passing of family matriarch, Peggy. Peggy was a good Christian woman who hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a motel room.The show chronicles the lives of Peggy’s family and associates from the time of her passing to her funeral as everyone tries to make sense of the nonsensical death.

The New York Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, New York City's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, has announced the nominees for the 2023 Bessie Awards. Broadway star Lorna Courtney of & Juliet and New York City Ballet member Victor Abreu were announced the winners of the 13th Annual Clive Barnes Award for Dance and Theatre.
