CBS All Access' Animated Series TOONING OUT THE NEWS to Launch April 7

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced that production will resume on its new animated variety news series, TOONING OUT THE NEWS, with the staff and crew working remotely. The series will launch on Tuesday, April 7 in the U.S. and Canada, exclusively on CBS All Access.

Theater for the New City Will Present Donald E. Lacy Jr. in COLORSTRUCK

From February 27 to March 15, Theater for the New City (TNC) will present comedian/actor/broadcaster Donald E. Lacy Jr. updating his one man show, 'ColorStruck,' a bittersweet examination of how cultural assumptions drive American society. Since national politics provide a never-ending supply of new material, the piece is continually reshaped. The velocity of change since TNC presented the show's New York debut last year (Feb-March, 2019) has inspired Lacy to initiate a new version that reflects pressing current events.

Jennifer Saunders will put her film knowledge to the ultimate test as she takes on the role of team captain in the second series of Sky original panel show, There's Something About Movies. She'll join fellow team captain Michael Sheen and host Alan Carr while comedian and friend of the show Tom Allen will be a regular member of Jennifer's team.

The Women's Suffrage Centennial Coalition (WSCC) and the Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement's Greater Boston Women's Vote Centennial (GBWVC), supported by the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, proudly announce a Boston Suffrage Centennial Kickoff Celebration, launching a year of commemorations celebrating 100 years since the 19th Amendment was adopted in 1920, enabling women to vote. The event takes place Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5-7pm at Faneuil Hall, located at One Faneuil Hall Square in Boston. Kirya Yvonne Traber Brings A Theatrical Mixtape To JACK

Writer/performer Kirya Yvonne Traber presents a theatrical mixtape at JACK, sharing songs of necessity and stories of longing. For this mix of concert and theater piece, Traber is backed by a four-piece band, with musical arrangements by Emma Alabaster. Featured musicians include Kala Brame (percussion), Alex Marcelo (piano), Emma Alabaster (bass), and Gwen Laster (viola), with a scenic installation by Jacqui Martinez and lighting design by Marika Kent. What We Needed features original music and text by Traber, and was created, in part, through the Lincoln Center Education Community Artist in Residence Program.

On Friday, May 12, 2017, Our Family Coalition (OFC), California's premier LGBTQ family organization, brings together 400 attendees for a Night Out to celebrate the organization's 21 years of advocacy, education, and community-building. The gala event includes elected officials, corporate sponsors, community partners and major donors, many of whom are LGBT people with children.
