Barb Jungr made a very welcome return to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, her last visit having been in 2006, when she presented her unique interpretations of the songs of Bob Dillon. Together with her musical director, accompanist, and co-writer, Simon Wallace, her performance consisted of a combination of interpretations of songs by several other famous singers, and a number of her own songs.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced its final schedule of performances for the 2013 Cabaret & Performance Conference. Beginning July 31, the ten-day conference will feature performances nightly, with the Grand Finale on Saturday evening, August 11.

Brighton Fringe has launched its 2013 programme online, offering a huge variety of 685 shows (and counting) with 3275 performances and 210 premieres in 178 venues with 38 international acts and 220 home-grown Brighton shows which makes it the richest and largest yet. Not only this but this year England's biggest arts festival lasts longer, running an extra week from tonight, 4 May to 2 June to incorporate both spring bank holidays and half term.

Not only this but this year England's biggest arts festival lasts longer, running an extra week from 4 May to 2 June to incorporate both spring bank holidays and half term. During that time every conceivable space in the South Coast city is transformed into a place of creative celebration. Throughout the merry month of May, Brighton positively buzzes with activity. From theatre to dance, comedy to music, visual art to literary events, high flying installations, dance and circus, there is something for everyone throughout the day and long into the spring evenings for what is always a highlight in the UK's arts calendar. And true to Brighton's slightly rebellious nature there will be plenty of surprises that could only happen in Britain's favourite seaside city.

Hailed by critics, the show has been called 'revelatory' by the NY Post and "cosmic" by The Wall Street Journal. The New York Times praised the performance saying it 'landed with an explosion.' In 2011, Jungr received NY Nightlife's Award for Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist, the Backstage Bistro Award for Best International Artist, and Time Out NY's #1 Top Live Cabaret Act for 2011.

Little Angel sees in 2013 a wide range of visiting companies. Companies presenting work for children include Norwich Puppet Theatre (THE TINDERBOX / PIED PIPER), Horse + Bamboo (THE NIGHTINGALE) and Folded Feather (NICE). For adults, we welcome Flabbergast Theatre's anarchic BORIS AND SERGEY straight from their Soho Theatre run, and the successful Edinburgh hits by Theatre Témoin (THE FANTASIST) and The Wrong Crowd (THE GIRL WITH THE IRON CLAWS). The season starts with Santé Theatre's PASSING ON written by Mike Kenny.
