The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs has announced that The 24th Annual MAC Awards Show will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at 7:30 PM at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. MAC will be announcing the winners and handing out awards in 24 categories to honor the best in live performance, recordings, songs and shows in cabaret, jazz, and standup comedy from the past year.

King Blues Club & Grill, and will be hosted by Sharon McNight. Leslie Uggams will be honored for Lifetime Achievement, with Board of Directors Awards being presented to Peter Leavy and playbill.com. The event will begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Lennie Watts will direct the evening, with Tracy Stark musical directing.

This week, January 25, stars celebrated the winners of the 2010 Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall. Among the winners and performers were Christine Ebersole, Cheyenne Jackson, Johnny Rodgers, Gretchen Reinhagen, Anne Steele, Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano.
