Paper Mill Playhouse wraps up their successful 2021-2022 Season with the beloved Tony Award nominated musical, Sister Act.  The Millburn theatre has brought the show to exciting new heights with elaborate staging and a wonderful cast.

Tonka, the 38-year-old chimpanzee who appeared when he was a baby alongside Alan Cumming in the film Buddy, has been found and rescued by PETA following a years-long legal battle with his former owner, Tonia Haddix. Tonka was discovered beng held in a tiny cage in Haddix's basement.

Disney+ announced the latest Marvel Studios addition to their exciting summer lineup, “I Am Groot.” 'I Am Groot” is a collection of five original shorts starring Baby Groot, everyone’s favorite little tree, and will feature several new and unusual characters. All five shorts will be available for viewers to watch upon launch.

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's production of Chicago, June 13-19. The cast features Sarah Bowden (Roxie Hart), J. After a new rigorous play submission and selection process, PlayPenn today announced the final six plays and playwrights that will be featured at the nonprofit organization's restructured annual Conference. The three-week conference will be hosted at The Drake in Philadelphia over a three-week period, between July 5 and July 24.

With recent studies showing that live entertainment is more important than ever before, famed independent music venue Elsewhere today announced its 2022 summer season calendar and the opening of the Rooftop. With a lineup spanning three in-venue stages and countless genres, Elsewhere will host over 40 events all summer long. 

Bill Oliver will direct the film, featuring a script that he co-wrote with Peter Nickowitz. Fernando Loureiro and Guilherme Coelho will produce the new film through their company, Tigress, with additional casting and a distrubtor to be announced.

On June 8, she will unveil two new tracks, “Cursed,” and, “Too Bad,” from the forthcoming album, which follow the previously shared album offering “For My Friends.” In July, King Princess will embark on The Hold On Baby Tour, a North American run of tour dates with stops at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
