NTPA Repertory Theatre will present the musical All Shook Up March 15-24, 2024 at the Rodenbaugh Theatre in Willow Bend Center of the Arts.

Taking on a Mel Brooks classic certainly isn’t without risk. For decades, his work has left audiences with painfully awkward side eyes and awkwardly painful side stitches. Without a doubt, NTPA's rendition of Young Frankenstein leaves viewers feeling the latter.

Directed by newly named Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt, Laugh focuses on two innocents, Mabel and Roscoe, as they set off for Hollywood circa 1920 seeking fame and fortune. The kaleidoscopic array of characters they meet along the way threatens their quest for happiness on the silver screen. Ms. Henley has created a modern day Odyssey where nothing and no one is exactly as they seem. Written with a glorious ear for dialogue and style to burn, Laugh is a truly compelling and fascinating fable.

Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) has announced the cast and creative team for its first main stage play of the 2016 season, Isaac's Eye by Lucas Hnath. Featuring actors Michael Linden, Greg Holt, Patrick Bynane, and Ashlee Elizabeth Bashore, the play will run Thursday, February 11 through Sunday, March 6 at the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at Amphibian Stage Productions.

Well, since it's from the mind of Britcom master Alan Ayckbourn, everything could, and the whole evening begins to unravel, quickly and hilariously, in Bedroom Farce, beginning a 5-week run at Stage West on Thursday, October 16. Dallas Theater Center brings a brand new adaptation of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the first time. DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty wrote the new adaptation and will direct the holiday favorite, with choreography by Joel Ferrell. A Christmas Carol makes its Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre debut on November 21 and runs through December 24.
