The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is delighted to announce its latest production, LITTLE WOMEN. Based on Louisa May Alcott's own family experiences (and novel), LITTLE WOMEN, follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up in Civil War America. This wonderful narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating musical filled with glorious music, dancing and heart. The timeless story of the beloved March sisters beautifully illustrates the thrill of chasing a dream and the power of love in a war-stricken family. This musical embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing laughter, tears, and a lifting of the spirit. The powerful score soars with the sounds of self-discovery, heartache and hope -- the sounds of a young America finding its voice. Six generations have read this story, this one will sing it!
