Following his sold-out Perfection Kills March 2018 UK Tour, South African singer-songwriter and guitarist Dan Patlansky will return this year for his November 2018 UK Tour. Earlier this year he released his ninth studio album Perfection Kills. The album is the follow up to 2016's critically acclaimed “Introvertigo” which was voted #1 Blues Rock Album 2016 by Blues Rock Review.

The Classics Theatre Project's Artistic Director Joey Folsom today announced casting and creative team details for the Company's inaugural production, in a new adaptation by Ben Schroth of Anton Chekov's The Cherry Orchard. The Cherry Orchard, directed by Joey Folsom, will run June 21 - July 14, 2018 in the Kim Dawson Theatre at the The Trinity River Arts Center.

The Tempel Lipizzans, the world's largest privately-owned herd of Lipizzan horses, welcomes horses and riders from Chile-based Escuela Clasica Lipizzana, Latin America's first and only Lipizzan herd, to participate in Tempel Lipizzans' 60th anniversary celebration. Throughout the month of July 2018, the "Lipizzans of the Americas" will together present equestrian dressage performances as part of the Tempel Lipizzans regular summer performance season. Escuela Clasica Lipizzana will also appear with the Tempel Lipizzans at their 60th Anniversary Gala Celebration on Saturday, July 21 at 5:30 p.m. Tempel Lipizzans perform at pastoral Tempel Farms, located just north of Chicago in Old Mill Creek, IL.

Today's subject, Alexandra Silber, is known on both sides of the pond as a versatile, killer performer. This international dynamo is currently living her theatre life onstage at Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) as Guenevere in Camelot. Free For All, one of the capital's cherished annual traditions, will return this summer to Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC), offering two weeks of free performances of the Company's 2016 production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. Directed by STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul, whose hit production of Camelot has extended through July 8 due to popular demand, the production will run at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F St NW) from August 21-September 2, providing more than 12,000 people the chance to see the play free of charge.

The Rink deals with family dysfunction in a dilapidated roller rink and, of course, there's Chicago with the shadiness of 1920s Chicago murderesses and the media that fueled them.

An original one-man rendition of the Kurosawa epic "Seven Samurai" will be performed by David Gaines at Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Tenney Theatre, June 1, 2018 at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $10.
