An original one-man rendition of the Kurosawa epic "Seven Samurai" will be performed by David Gaines at Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Tenney Theatre, June 1, 2018 at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $10.

This June, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The Santa Barbara Symphony, under the baton of guest conductor Carolyn Kuan, will perform John Corigliano's Academy Award-winning score for The Red Violin, accompanied by Francois Girard's engrossing film in its entirety, at the Granada Theatre on Saturday, June 16, and Sunday, June 17. Also featuring Canadian violinist Lara St. John as soloist, the concerts will take place at 8 pm on June 16 and at 3 pm on June 17. Originally scheduled for January 20 and 21, these concerts were postponed on account of the catastrophic debris flows in Montecito earlier that month. The Taos Opera Institute (TOI) will host the eleventh Taos Opera Institute Festival this year, June 7 - 30. The festival will feature two performance groups, the TOI Singers and the Cantos de Taos Quartet performing 19 free classical music performances in Taos County, Los Alamos and Santa Fe. These events are free and open to the public.

The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's 2017-18 season has brought an exhilarating year of music education and performances to over 120 talented musicians, ages 14 to 21, marking the organization's 78th Anniversary. The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra 78th Annual Festival Concert will feature the World Premiere of Manhattan Nights by Kevin Day, who is the Second Annual Young Composers Competition Winner, A Salute to Leonard Bernstein with Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Strauss' Ein Heldenleben, Op. 40. "Animaniacs in Concert!" starring Rob Paulsen and Randy Rogel will return to Joe's Pub in New York today, May 24th through Sunday, May 27th. Joe's Pub at The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette Street, New York, NY10003. Ticket prices are $45. Each evening has two sets: doors open at 6:00 pm for the 7:00 pm show, and 9:00 pm for the 9:30 pm show. Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sammy Strittmatter is set to release his ambitious fourth full-length album, Get Out of the City, on Palo Santo Records on May 18, 2018.
