The Breeders' Cup and NBC Sports Group today announced the 2018 “Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In, presented by America's Best Racing” television schedule, consisting of 11 live programs featuring a star-studded lineup of more than 20 automatic qualifying races, and other major stakes, from seven of the nation's premier racetracks on the road to the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

"Animaniacs in Concert!" starring Rob Paulsen and Randy Rogel will return to Joe's Pub in New York on Thursday, May 24th through Sunday, May 27th. Joe's Pub at The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette Street, New York, NY10003. Ticket prices are $45. Each evening has two sets: doors open at 6:00 pm for the 7:00 pm show, and 9:00 pm for the 9:30 pm show. Theatre Arlington is stepping outside the box this spring and asking the question, "What do you see?" in Red by John Logan.  Winner of six Tony Awards in 2010, including Best Play, Red goes inside the studio of famed Abstract-Expressionist artist Mark Rothko at the height of his career in 1958. Rothko has just landed the biggest commission in the history of modern art at the time, but is struggling with his young, idealistic assistant, Ken, and his own inner demons. Ken's answers to the initial question result in more thought-provoking and probing questions, shedding light on the meaning of art, integrity and commercialism. The two artists explosively challenge each other, revealing their own fears, philosophies, visions and secrets.

Paul Thorn released on Friday his first-ever gospel album Don't Let The Devil Ride, available everywhere via Thirty Tigers. A collection of soulful songs originally recorded by black southern gospel groups, Don't Let The Devil Ride was co-produced by Billy Maddox and Colin Linden and recorded in three legendary locations: Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, and Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Don't Let The Devil Ride features contributions from the Blind Boys of Alabama, The McCrary Sisters, the Preservation Hall Jazz Horns and Bonnie Bishop. Today, Thorn shared the video for 'You Got To Move,' debuted by Glide Magazine, which features special behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album at these legendary studios.

Rainbow Theatre Project will close out the 2017 / 18 season with a production of Kevin Michael West's Top and Bottom. A gay comedy that was a hit at the NY Fringe Festival, Top and Bottom will run from April 5 - 29, 2018 at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

The Theatre Group at SBCC concludes the 17/18 season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, CRIMES OF THE HEART by Beth Henley.
