Millikin School Of Theatre & Dance to Present SHE LOVES ME

Considered by many to be the most charming musical ever written, Millikin University's School of Theatre & Dance will present 'She Loves Me' at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin's campus. Performances will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, and Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m.

The Silver Gull Play Award 2021 Shortlist Announced

There was a wonderful response to The Silver Gull Play Award competition this year, with over 50 plays submitted.  The judging panel read, assessed and discussed each submission multiple times. The identity of the writers was kept anonymous from the judges, so the shortlist truly reflects a determination made on merit, solely on the quality of writing. After a month of deliberation, a shortlist of six has been finalised.

A Musical Tribute for Veteran's Day to be Hosted by New Musicals Inc

On Veterans’ Day - November 11 - at 7pm, New Musicals Inc is hosting a special online concert to help celebrate the day and pay respect to veterans around the world. The free concert will feature excerpts from the musical webseries, “So Proudly We Hailed” which honors veterans by dramatizing and musicalizing their story in their own words.

3Arts, the Chicago-based nonprofit grantmaking organization, announced the recipients of the second annual 3Arts Next Level/Spare Room Award—a $50,000 unrestricted cash award given to three women visual artists who are past 3Arts awardees—during its 14th annual 3Arts Awards Celebration hosted virtually on November 1, live on YouTube.

Winners Of LANPP Grants Announced

Los Angeles New Play Project has released the names of the three playwrights who have each been awarded $20,000 grants for their original work. These plays will be presented on stages in Los Angeles County with an additional grant up to $20,000 to each of the producing entities in support of the productions. All three playwrights are based in Los Angeles.

Anchorage Symphony Orchestra Will Perform RENEGADES Next Month
