Acorn Productions, producers of the Naked Shakespeare series, presents "Apocrypha," an evening that brings to life selection from plays that have been newly discovered to have Shakespeare's words in them. In this combination presentation and performance, audience members will have the chance to decide for themselves whether they agree with scholars that these pieces were written by the Bard. Although most people consider the 36 plays published in the First Folio to be Shakespeare's body of work, new computer programs have been able to identify language in several other plays that appear to be also authored either fully or in part by Shakespeare. The evening highlights the nature of Shakespeare's writing process, as well as bringing to life scenes and soliloquies from four plays, which are now considered to include many sections written by Shakespeare.
Theater League's national tour of 'A Chorus Line' features a stellar cast, fabulous singing and dancing, but above all, the rock solid directing by Baayork Lee, the original Connie, who has ensured that Michael Bennett's original conception from over 40 years ago remains the same as he intended, as if Lee were encasing the show in amber.

It's like Choi peered down into the lives of Sam and Penny, pulled out a few months of their life, and shared them with the world. Sam and Penny are so awkward, and feel so very, very human. A good portion of the book is told through texting because of their unusual relationship and that text-speak feels so realistic. It talks about mundane things such as the love of Pringles and whether or not Harry Potter should be re-read and whether a documentary about the life of a cat would be a good idea or not. The texts are a mix of fantastic grammar and the everyday way we send things without capitalization or periods. Sometimes, there's even shorthand. The shorthand is minimal, though, which makes it so much easier to read and get through. Especially since Penny is a writer and prefers to write with grammar, which Sam picks up on right away, and he starts spelling things out much more with her! I'm not a huge epistolary reader and struggle to get through books with texts, emails, letters, etc. EMERGENCY CONTACT used it so naturally that I didn't have that problem this time around and felt it only enhanced the relationship between the two.

With the facts lying shredded on the floor around us, where should we focus and how do we know what's true?
