As part of the Emerald City Comicon, we are partnering with Seattle Experimental Theater to off Where No Man has Gone Before: And Improvised Star Trek Parody for two nights only, Fri./Sat. @ 8:30. Saturday we open Everleigh Estates at UP North. 

TNT's The Alienist scored another impressive week's premiere Monday night holding claim to cable's #1 new drama series this season and continuing to show strong momentum to achieve an extraordinary 40 percent in-season growth, a trajectory that only two top dramas (in a universe of more than 500 dramas on television) managed to achieve in 2017.

Two Toronto multi-cultural music groups share a very special evening on April 7. The Royal Conservatory's KUNE - Canada's Global Orchestra features top notch musicians from all over the world who now live in Canada.

Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will present a benefit staging of a new series of monologues entitled WOMEN ON FIRE: Stories from the Frontlines, written, curated, and directed by Royal Family artistic director Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women, with choreography from Lorna Ventura. The one-night- only event will take place on Sunday, March 18 at 6:30pm at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor). Pacific Chorale, the resident choir of Segerstrom Center for the Arts, will be presenting an intimate presentation of Bach's St. John Passion on Saturday evening, March 10, at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach, to celebrate the Lenten season (which is from February 14 to March 31, 2018).

A perfumed letter, a seedy hotel and a pack of wacky characters bring 1907 Paris to Delaware in the Resident Ensemble Players (REP) production A Flea in Her Ear, a new version of Georges Feydeau's farce, written by David Ives, Mar. 1 through Mar. 18, in the Roselle Center for the Arts, Newark, DE. Internationally renowned director, Mark Lamos, returns to the REP to stage the bawdy bedroom comedy.

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade in association with Manhattan Theatre Source will present the 2018 EstroGenius Festival, the longest running festival celebrating the work of women and gender non-conforming artists in NYC.  Begun in Manhattan Theatre Source in 2000 as a short-play festival, the festival has launched and supported hundreds of artists in its 18 years. 2017 was the festival's first time in its new home The Kraine Theatre on E. 4th St.

Central Works 2018 season of new plays leaps into the spring with the world premiere of Palace Wreckers, Inc, written and directed by Gary Graves, opening with a press night on Saturday, May 12, and running through June 10  (previews May 10 & 11) in architect Julia Morgan's historic Berkeley City Club. This Central Works Method play is a 'revenge comedy' - based on a Greek tragedy, turned into a contemporary comedy.

There will be a special 'Act of Kindness' in San Diego on Thursday, March 1st from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Halo Cinematic, benefiting Rachel's Women's Center (a Drop-In Day Center at Catholic Charities for homeless and low income women in East Village). This fifth Act of Kindness in San Diego is sponsored and led by Sue Vicory, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, humanitarian and the CEO of the global brand “My Power of One”.

ALLEGIANCE, George Takei's chronicles of his unimaginable family imprisonment in internment camps, makes its L.A. premiere February 28 at the JACCC's Aratani Theatre. During previews, we managed to grab a chance to talk with George on ALLEGIANCE's too-long, incredible journey from his all-too-vivid childhood memories to its decades-later try-out at San Diego's Old Globe, through its Broadway engagement, to its Los Angeles premiere with the East West Players.

ID Announces Premiere of All-New Series EVIL TALKS: CHILLING CONFESSIONS

As the annual festival of fearless storytelling, Roundhouse Last Worst Festival returns to the Roundhouse for two and a half weeks of bold performances from established and emerging spoken word artists. Boundless Theatre and Boom Shakalaka Productions will present new songs from Parakeet - a work in development by Brigitte Aphrodite, with music and additional lyrics by Quiet Boy, directed by Laura Keefe on June 28th.

A Netflix original documentary series Launches globally on March 2.

Visionary sci-fi rock band STARSET recently unveiled their Augmented reality app while on their current headline tour across the US and Canada. The new mixed reality app developed by the firm Juniper Jones includes space inspired visuals that fans can access using the app throughout the interactive live show.  The unique experience features live music synced to the AR content as well as a pre-show countdown clock.
