Families will join Nancy in a very fancy holiday celebration as Fancy Nancy: Splediferous Christmas plays at the City Theatre from Today, December 16 to Sunday, December 18.

VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce casting for the New York City and Tour companies of FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS.

American Lyric Theater (ALT) and Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center, in partnership with MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), presents The Halloween Tree on October 30, 2016 at 3pm in the Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center, 129 W 67th Street, New York City.  Based on Ray Bradbury's classic novel that explores the origins of Halloween, composer Theo Popov and librettist Tony Asaro take us on an epic journey as a group of children search for their friend Pipkin, who has mysteriously disappeared on Halloween night. Conductor: Adam Turner. Featuring Mark S. Doss as Moundshroud; with Emma Grimsley, Shirin Eskandani, Spencer Viator, Brian Wallin, Michael Kelly, and Jarrett Porter with members of MasterVoices.

Vic Theatre has announced two shows at one of Melbourne's most renowned and multi-faceted hubs 45 Downstairs, The Gathering and The Last Five Years. This unique presentation will see two shows play in the same theatre at alternating times.

VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the return of FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS for the 2015 holiday season. Based on the New York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O'Connor with illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser, the musical has a book by Cara Lustik and Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein and lyrics by Matthew Hardy and directed by Sam Viverito. The production will play at the Theater at St. Jean, on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm, today, November 28 - December 27, 2015.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 19 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
