The Coterie, a new downtown company devoted to developing contemporary music theater works, will launch with a concert at Joe's Pub on September 21st, 2009 at 9:30pm.

Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams on Broadway, subUrbia at Second Stage, The Love Guru starring Mike Myers) will star in the rock and roll vampire musical The Cure, running September 29th-October 11th at the American Theatre of Actors in the upcoming 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Written by Mark Weiser, The Cure will feature direction from Elizabeth Lucas (Wild About Harry, The Last Starfighter, and The View From Here at NYMF), and is produced by The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Samantha Saltzman.

Jaimie Mayer and Don't Eat the Pictures Productions proudly present an industry reading of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) hit The Boy in the Bathroom, September 17 at 3:00 & 7:00 PM. Featuring book & lyrics by Michael Lluberes with music and additional lyrics by Joe Maloney, this presentation will be directed by show creator, Michael Lluberes and will play at Stage Five at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street b/w 8th & 9th Avenues).

PS CLASSICS is proud to announce the release of ONE OUNCE OF TRUTH: THE NIKKI GIOVANII SONGS, the extraordinary new collaboration from the team of vocalist Capathia Jenkins and songwriter/performer Louis Rosen.
