Josh Kight Makes New York Cabaret Debut at Feinstein's/54 Below Tonight
Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Josh Kight in Concert tonight, April 30, 2016 at 11:30pm.
Hailing from the good old Midwest, Josh has firmly planted new roots in NYC and found the city itself to be a hell of a muse. His work evokes the snappy freshness of contemporary musical theater and the timelessness of classic standards, brought to life on the Feinstein's/54 Below stage by some of musical theater's brightest young talent.
Audra McDonald, Patti LuPone, Santino Fontana, and Stephen Sondheim are NOT here to help composer/lyricist Josh Kight make his New York cabaret debut, but performers who are here include Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Robber Bridegroom), N'Kenge (Motown, Sondheim on Sondheim), Kathryn Allison (Aladdin), Bello Pizzimenti (SkippyJon Jones), and Elias Wygodny (Rude Mechanicals)

Josh Kight is a writer and musician working out of New York, NY. He has written 4 musicals,including Chairs, which won a 2015 Anna Sosenko Grant. His work has been heard at Symphony Space, Cap21, The New Harmony Project, Weston Playhouse, and the University of Evansville, Josh's alma mater. In addition to writing, Josh has worked as a music director at Cap21, NYU, Columbia, LaGuardia HS, Weston Playhouse, and The New Harmony Project. Josh is a proud member of ASCAP, the Local 802, the BMI Lehman Engel Workshop, and the Dramatists Guild of America.
