"When I saw the movie, I was just like: 'I get you, I so get you'… When I did Wicked we used to say 'everyone has a little green in them.' And that's what I feel like Max is about. Even though he has a diagnosed condition, everyone feels, you know, uncomfortable in their skin at some point. So that, I related to right away and just, the idea of connection."

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the winners of the NYMF 2014 Awards for Excellence. Awards are voted on by the NYMF jury and the awards were presented at the closing night celebration on July 27th at Arena Events Space.
An industry-only reading of the new musical 'MONKEY BOOGERS,' by the award-winning writing team of Brian Feinstein & Stephen Tyler Davis, will be presented today, May 22nd at 12pm & 4pm. The musical, which is being produced by Kevin Duda (The Book of Mormon, Beautiful), is the first offering under this new family entertainment brand, which has projects in development for television, cd and books as well.
