Perth Concert Hall has assembled a stellar line-up of Scottish singers and musicians to celebrate the legendary songwriter and pianist Burt Bacharach in a brand-new show Scotland Sings Bacharach.

American roots music fans can rekindle the spirit of Perth's popular Southern Fried Festival at two special gigs on Saturday 30 July. The award-winning festival hasn't taken place since summer 2018, but organisers are set to delight Southern Fried's loyal following with this exclusive one-night edition of the event.

Scottish music fans will have the chance to show their support for Ukraine by attending a special fundraising performance in Perth Concert Hall.

Led by Musical Director Patsy Reid, the 20 successful applicants will work alongside some of Scotland’s top musicians and composers, attending five masterclasses and five one-to-one mentoring sessions online, with the aim of creating a finished piece of music.

Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre may be closed for now, but the team behind the venues is sharing daily moments of culture and community to stay in touch while the buildings are dark.
