Tony Award Winning Adriane Lenox (Doubt, Kiss Me Kate, The Blind Side) and Broadway dreamboat Benjamin Walker (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), will lead a group of Broadway actors performing in support of an international not-for-profit arts organization created by some of their colleagues from the Great White Way. ZARA AINA's Big Ol' Fancy Pants Benefit will take place on November 26th, 2012.

Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band has just announced their debut concert performance, taking place Monday November 19 at the Laurie Beechman Theater (407 West 42nd Street ). The concert will feature a 17-piece orchestra and Broadway vocalists performing Rosen's arrangements of classic showtunes, standards, and some new surprises.

Jon Tracy directs Joe Landry's live radio play adaptation of Frank Capra's film It's a Wonderful Life. Opening night is on Tuesday, November 27.

Seven Artists Selected for 2013 Sundance Institute Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation

Sundance Institute today announced the seven artists selected for its 2013 Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation, February 4-22, 2013. The annual writing colony at the 20,000-acre working cattle ranch outside of Sheridan, Wyo. provides a supportive environment for artists to create new work and receive guidance and reactions to it at an early stage. Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of the Theatre Program, and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Playwrights Retreat is made possible through the generosity of Ucross Foundation.

Speaking on behalf of the producers of the new musical BARE, Paul Boskind, who is organizing the series, is proud to announce that the show will host post-performance TalkOUTs throughout the run of the show. Beginning with the first preview, audiences at select performances will be invited to stay after the show to participate in a discussion with some of the foremost leaders in the fight for LGBT equality. These special guests will include Judy Shepard (Matthew Shepard Foundation), The Clementi Family (Tyler Clementi Foundation), Chuck Wolfe (The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund), Hudson Taylor (Athlete Ally), Mitchell Gold (Faith in America), Travis Wall (choreographer of BARE, "So You Think You Can Dance") and cast members of BARE.
