The comedy about Hollywood stereotypes, By the Way, Meet Vera Stark comes to the Unicorn Theatre tonight, June 4, with opening night on June 7. Missy Koonce directs the Unicorn production written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage. Nottage won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2009 for her play Ruined. At the time, she wrote Ruined she was working on a second project, which ended up being By the Way, Meet Vera Stark.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's epic WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play, will make its Nashville premiere at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall beginning today, June 3-8.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is proud to present a 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist and a 2010 Tony Nominee for Best Play, In The Next Room or The Vibrator Play by Sarah Ruhl. The smart, touching, and hilarious period play will be directed by MET Associate Artistic Director, Julie Herber. The Tennessee Performing Arts Center announces a change to the line-up for its 2014-15 HCA/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC season. EVITA, which had been scheduled for a Nashville engagement November 4-9, 2014, has been removed from the season due to a change in the production's touring schedule.
