Three Broadway favorites will appear in concert as part of STARS ON STAGE FROM Westport Country Playhouse, three new concert specials headlined by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Gavin Creel, Billboard #1 recording artist Shoshana Bean, and Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon.

Join three Broadway favorites for STARS ON STAGE FROM WESTPORT COUNTRY PLAYHOUSE, three new concert specials headlined by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Gavin Creel, Billboard #1 recording artist Shoshana Bean, and Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon. 

Filmed live at the historic Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut, these concerts feature Tony and Olivier Award-winner Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hello, Dolly!), Billboard #1 recording artist Shoshana Bean (Wicked, Waitress), and Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton, The Color Purple).

Live From Lincoln Center today announced that Odyssey: The Chamber Music Society in Greece, will air on PBS Friday, September 6, 2019.

Live From Lincoln Center will air a  concert featuring one of Broadway's brightest stars Tony Award-winner, Cynthia Erivo, next Friday, May 10, at 9 PM.

Live From Lincoln Center will welcome three of Broadway's brightest stars— Cynthia Erivo, Annaleigh Ashford, and Megan Hilty—for the second season of the critically acclaimed Stars in Concert performance series on PBS. Each evening will spotlight one of these iconic leading ladies, combining powerhouse performances with an intimate cabaret-style setting.

In honor of Black History month, the Live from Lincoln Center presentation of PIPELINE will air Friday, February 8 at 9 p.m. on PBS*. Produced in partnership with BroadwayHD, PIPELINE depicts a mother's hopes for her son and their clash with an educational system rigged against him. The powerful work was originally staged at Lincoln Center Theater in 2017 to wide critical acclaim, and was hailed as "potent and intensely acted" by the New York Times, and confirmed Dominique Morisseau's "reputation as a playwright of piercing eloquence". 

This New Year's Eve, Live From Lincoln Center rings in 2019 by celebrating the beautiful intersection of classical music, popular musical theater, and dance. Marking the beginning of Lincoln Center's 60th anniversary celebration, Grammy winner and beloved soprano Renee Fleming performs as soloist alongside the New York Philharmonic, led by new Music Director Jaap van Zweden in his Live From Lincoln Center debut. Tony winner and Grammy and Emmy nominee Kelli O'Hara guest hosts the broadcast, airing live on PBS Monday, December 31 at 9:00 pm*.

In an age where televised live events are becoming more and more popular, rules need to be changed. The Emmys are finally sorting this out, according to Variety. The awards organization has split the special class categories into variety special (live) and variety special (pre-recorded).
