BroadwayHD kicks off the month of October with a binge-worthy lineup of performances! Leading the charge is the eerie classic Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, starring Tony Award winners Angela Lansbury and George Hearn as Mrs. Lovett and the vengeful Sweeney Todd. On October 17th, Jekyll and Hyde, starring David Hasselhoff in his Broadway debut, will make its way to the platform. As part of BroadwayHD's partnership with Stratford Festival, subscribers will have access to the critically-acclaimed Stratford Stage's 2017 production of Macbeth on October 24th, starring Ian Lake and Krystin Pellerin. Finally, on October 31st, Hugh Grant and Elizabeth McGovern star in a dramatic tale of love and loss in The Changeling.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Sister Act on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. The show will run through Sunday, January 6, 2019.  Previews will be on Wednesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 15, 2018. With music by Alan Menken, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, lyrics by Glenn Slater and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane, this uplifting musical comedy is based on the hit 1992 movie starring Whoopi Goldberg.

Everyone's favorite Nanny has landed, with 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' magic in tow, at Virginia Repertory Theatre. Based on the 1934 P.L. Travers series and subsequent Disney film, the Tony-nominated MARY POPPINS has been extended through January 7 at the November Theatre due to popular demand.

Cadence Theatre Company and Virginia Repertory Theatre are pleased to present their first co-production of the 2017-2018 Cadence Season, Fun Home, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron and music by Jeanine Tesori. Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of A Christmas Story, The Musical, November 25th on the Arenstein Stage at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre, 114 West Broad Street, with a preview on Wednesday, November 23.

Kylie Myers, a 12-year-old aspiring actress form Georgia, was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, on April 9, 2014. Since then, Broadway stars, companies, and thousands of people around the world quickly adopted her. And even though she had to miss her walk-on Broadway role, Kylie still made her Broadway debut this week on a billboard in Times Square.

Firehouse Theatre Project once again brings Broadway to Richmond with a one night only performance by Richmond Theatre Critics Circle (RTCC) Award winner Andrea Rivette, Sunday, February 9th at 8pm. Featuring RTCC Award winner - and her costar from Cadence Theatre's Next to Normal - Terence Sullivan, the evening will include hits Cabaret, I Dreamed a Dream, Gimme Gimme, I Miss the Mountains, Someone Like You and more Broadway favorites. Broadway notable and popular screen personality Anita Gillette joins a starry cast of performers including David Cryer, John Cudia, William Michals and Kimilee Bryant for a special concert preview presentation of the new musical MIRACOLO coming up later this month according to a new announcement.
