New York Deaf Theatre (NYDT) celebrates their 38th season with an accessible production of MAPLE AND VINE by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison. The production marks the New York theater directing debut of award-winning Deaf film director Jules Dameron. Previews begin May 11 at the Flea Theater with a gala performance on May 12 and an official opening on Thursday, May 17 at 7:00pm.

dog & pony dc unveils Peepshow as part of the second annual Women's Voices Theater Festival. It is the company's first fully-produced new show since 2015. Peepshow is a fanciful and absurd pastiche of interactive theatrical forms, created, designed, and performed by an entirely non-male identifying ensemble of artists. Peepshow opens February 7, 2018 and performs through February 25 in the Rehearsal Hall of Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (641 D Street NW). Deaf West Theatre's acclaimed Broadway production of SPRING AWAKENING closes today, Sunday, January 24 after 129 performances. The production will have life after Broadway, however, with a national tour scheduled to launch in 2017.
